The CinemaScope series is inspired by scenes from film. I love to capture a moment of foreshadowing, of drama or expectation, an ominous feeling, a portentous glance. Possibility excites me, and I love film, so this is one of my favorite series. These original oils are painted in the CinemaScope proportion, in this case, 18 x 36 inches. The oversized images add to the impact and drama of the paintings.
